Fear of the Unknown

The deepest darkest fear
In al the world dwells in our
Mind. It never eats it never sleeps
But it waits with infinite patience
Upon when to strike its prey

You

Like a leech, it feeds off the
Deepest and most hateful emotions,
Churning and seething until one dark
moon less night, You stare out into
The darkness of your bed chamber
To see those emotions coming.

For you.

Though, in most cases, it will
Never kill you or harm you in any way
You will weep at the thought of
Its return. Its dark shadow is
Always there. Even in your mind
Where light shines like a beacon
On a stormy night at sea, Where there
Is light there must be shadows.

Hope if you wish that the
Creature never returns to your bedside
But always beware:

The Unknown is a very big
Place
